EcoDriving, in cooperation with Toyota

The EcoDriving program is based on a sophisticated simulator built by Green Dino, builders of flight simulators, to the specifications of Ecolife (GAP Flanders).

Drivers first log their fuel consumption, then attend a workshop where they receive personal coaching on the simulator. Follow-up is usually via the web but can also be in the form of an additional workshop.

Results are measured savings in fuel use, CO2 emissions, accident rates, and wear-and-tear on vehicles.

In 2008 the program is starting in Iceland, Norway, Spain and UK. More countries will be invited to join in 2009.
