The Carbon-Neutral Office

A cost-effective investment

Increasingly, both businesses and non-profits are looking to develop a policy on climate change. One tool to achieve their goals is to invest in technical eco-efficiency measures. Many organizations are also shifting to renewable energy, and compensating their CO2 emissions by planting trees.

The contribution that employees can make is however often neglected, despite the fact that investments in behaviour change are among the most cost-effective. Developed by GAP Netherlands, this program is used, with excellent, measurable results, by several large and some smaller businesses to engage staff in initiatives to reduce CO2 emissions.

The program materials are tailored to the client organization. An in-house team is trained to deliver the program, including benchmarking and post-program measurements, with coaching from GAP staff.
