Empowerment

GAP programs are based on empowerment: helping people to consciously build new habits. Since 1990 we have kept up a systematic search for methods and tools to support behaviour change with a minimum of external input.

We are still researching – but in the meantime, research has shown our programs to be uniquely effective. There are also considerable spin-off effects.

We frequently hear about resistance to change: 'You can't teach old dogs new tricks.' This claim is without foundation, according not only our experience but also to surveys in many countries. In fact, that is exactly what we do: learn and teach 'new tricks'. All the time, with a minimum of investment.
