Information included in the form for participants registering for a Global Action Plan International training programme or event
Any personal information will only be used for purposes related to the training programme or event you are registering for. This information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with any other third party, fully in accordance to the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR (European Parliament and Council of the European Union – Regulation (EU2016/679), https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2016/679/oj
The General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (GDPR) is a European Union law which entered into force in 2016 and, following a two year transition period, became directly applicable law in all Member States of the European Union on 25 May 2018, without requiring implementation by the EU Member States through national law.
In addition to the GDPR, the Swedish Data Protection Act (2018:218) (the “Data Protection Act”) and the Data Protection Ordinance (2018:219) apply. The Data Protection Act regulates general aspects of data protection where the GDPR allows, e.g. processing of personal identity numbers and processing of data relating to criminal convictions and offences. The Data Protection Act applies from 25 May 2018 (i.e. the same date as the GDPR).
