What We DoGAP Poland has been working since 2000 with schools, housing associations, public and private institutions to engage them in more sustainable behaviour practices. Our aim is also to increase involvement of individuals and groups in public participation and decision-making processes related to sustainability in communities. We do it through training, guidebooks and support in community campaigns.

Our MissionTo empower individuals, schools, universities and communities to live increasingly sustainable lifestyles.
Areas of WorkWe implement environmental behaviour change programmes in neighbourhoods and organisations; deliver workshops in sustainable consumption choices.
Success StoriesFor more than a decade GAP Poland led a national campaign engaging thousands of school students in eco-teams each year in tangible behaviour change. We were initiators of introducing a licenced ecological footprint calculator adapted to Polish culture to measure change. The campaign was supported by teachers trained as coaches in sustainable lifestyle practices and local community campaigns.
