Monthly member spotlight InEuropa Italy

InEuropa is currently engaging students and adults across Italy in projects and workshops which aim to empower individuals to take action as global citizens and adopt sustainable habits.

Between October-November 2024, InEuropa has ran 30 workshops involving more than 200 students and 100 adults, making them work and reflect on topics like sustainable mobility (MOVE TO BE GREEN project) or European values and citizenship (BRICKS4RIGHTS project and “Modena per il Clima” project). An additional 50 University students have been engaged through a workshop which focussed on how to face fake news in Europe (BufalEU project). The workshops are based on LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology.

Finally, in October 2024, 120 students from primary (8-10 years old) and secondary schools (12-13 years old) took part in activities based on Just Action’s Student’s Journey resources. Just Action’s approach to Global Citizenship Education, based on the development of a proactive attitude in students and teachers in their relations with the whole school and local communities, will be furtherly developed in the new Erasmus+ project “Just Maps – Schools strengthening global citizenship by mapping local communities”, starting in December 2024.
